Additional indebtedness may be incurred by district with voterapproval, amount.

184.612. The metropolitan zoo district by a vote of thequalified voters thereof voting thereon as now or hereafterrequired by section 26(b) of article VI of the MissouriConstitution may incur an additional indebtedness for thepurposes of the district. The total indebtedness authorizedseparately by the voters for the respective district shall notexceed five percent of the taxable tangible property therein asshown by the last completed assessment for state and countypurposes in the city and the county.
