Legislative findings.

185.200. The general assembly, giving due consideration to thehistorical and continuing interest of the people of the state of Missouriin encouraging the educational and cultural enrichment of its residents,finds that public television stations, especially with local programming,contribute significantly to such enrichment, are a valuable state resource,and consequently that support of public television is an important publicpurpose.
