Executive director for council to be in department of economicdevelopment--appointment--qualifications, powers and duties.

186.014. 1. There is hereby created in the department ofeconomic development an "Executive Director" for the Missouriwomen's council. Upon consultation with the council, thedirector of the department of economic development shallrecommend for appointment to the governor, with the advice andconsent of the senate, an individual who possesses demonstratedcapability in business or industry, especially in businessenterprises or employment training, to serve as executivedirector to work with the council in the implementation ofsections 186.005 to 186.019.

2. The executive director shall be responsible for:

(1) Implementing programs initiated by the council; and

(2) Performing other duties as defined by the council.
