Trained employee of end-stage renal disease facility may initiatedialysis--not unlawful practice of medicine.

191.360. It shall not be considered an unlawful practice ofmedicine pursuant to chapter 334, RSMo, or a violation of anyprovision of chapter 335, RSMo, for an employee of a certifiedend-stage renal disease facility who has been appropriatelytrained in the dialysis techniques to initiate dialysis within acertified end-stage renal disease facility under the supervisionof a licensed physician or a registered nurse as those terms aredefined by law.
