Educational program to be established for physicians--departments ofhealth and senior services and mental health, duties.

191.727. The director of the department of health and senior servicesand the director of the department of mental health shall create andadminister an educational program that shall:

(1) Provide education to all physicians providing obstetrical andgynecological care in taking accurate and complete drug histories from theirpregnant patients;

(2) Provide education to all such physicians concerning the effects ofcigarettes, alcohol and schedules I, II and III controlled substances onpregnancy and fetal outcome;

(3) Provide education to all such physicians concerning counselingtechniques for drug abusing women so as to improve referral to and compliancewith drug treatment programs.
