Department's duty as to diseases of animals.

192.110. The department of health and senior services shall takecognizance of any contagious diseases which may be prevalent among domesticanimals of the state which diseases may be communicable to human beings; shallascertain the nature and causes of such diseases; publish the results of itsinvestigations, with suggestions for the proper safeguards and treatment ofsuch animals.
