Violation of law or regulation, misdemeanor--injunctive relief.

192.490. 1. Any person who violates any of the provisions of, or failsto perform any duty imposed by, sections 192.400 to 192.490, or who violatesany rule or regulation of the department of health and senior servicespromulgated pursuant to sections 192.400 to 192.490, is guilty of amisdemeanor and, in addition, may be enjoined in a civil action by a court ofcompetent jurisdiction from continuing the violation.

2. Each day upon which the violation occurs constitutes a separateviolation.

3. The attorney general, on request of the department of health andsenior services, shall bring an action for injunctive relief to prevent theviolation of the provisions of sections 192.400 to 192.490 or rules orregulations promulgated under these sections.
