Support for rheumatology trainees--amount--approval of candidates.

192.720. 1. Beginning upon receipt of appropriations forthat purpose and subject to the availability of appropriations,but not before October 1, 1984, support shall be provided forthree academic rheumatology trainees annually, for pursuit oftraining with academic institutions in the state.

2. Such support shall consist of an appropriate stipend andan additional budget for expenses for each trainee each year asrecommended by the board.

3. A candidate for academic rheumatology training grantedpursuant to this section shall be approved by the director, theboard and the academic institution.
