Unlawful distribution to a minor, penalty.

195.212. 1. A person commits the offense of unlawfuldistribution of a controlled substance to a minor if he violatessection 195.211 by distributing or delivering any controlledsubstance to a person under seventeen years of age who is atleast two years that person's junior.

2. Unlawful distribution of a controlled substance to aminor is a class B felony.

3. It is not a defense to a violation of this section thatthe defendant did not know the age of the person to whom he wasdistributing or delivering.
