No person or persons, corporation, company or otherassociation or congregation of individuals shall manufacture,sell or offer for sale, directly or indirectly, at retail or atwholesale in this state any article to be known or denominatedcheese, not made from pure cream or unskimmed milk or cream ofthe milk, unless such person, or persons, corporation, company orassociation of individuals manufacturing the same, or offeringthe same for sale, or selling the same, shall brand or label suchcheese or articles so offered for sale denominated a cheese, withblack letters not less than one inch in length in a conspicuousplace and of large size in the English language as follows:"Skimmed milk cheese", or with the words "not full cream cheese",giving the true name of such article called cheese somanufactured or offered for sale, clearly and indelibly branded,marked or labeled thereon, so that the same can be distinctlyread and fully comprehended, at all stores or places or factorieswhere the same may be offered for sale.
