196.775. No person, firm or corporation, agent or employeeshall sell, offer or expose for sale, or deliver to anypurchaser, any boiled, process or renovated butter, unless thewords "renovated butter" shall be plainly branded in bold faceletters, at least three-fourths of an inch in length, on the topand side of each tub, or box or pail, or other kind of case orpackage, or on the wrapper or prints or rolls of bulk packages inwhich it is put up. If such butter is exposed for sale uncoveredor not in a case or package, a placard containing a label soprinted shall be attached to the mass of butter in such a manneras to be easily seen and read by the purchaser. The branding ormarking of all packages shall be in the English language and in aconspicuous place, so as to be easily read by the purchaser.Whoever shall violate the provisions of this section shall bepunished as provided for by section 196.790.
