Resident returned to facility from a medical facility, physicianorders, duty of facility.

198.069. For any resident of an assisted living facility who isreleased from a hospital or skilled nursing facility and returns to anassisted living facility as a resident, such resident's assisted livingfacility shall immediately, upon return, implement physician orders in thehospital or discharge summary, and within twenty-four hours of thepatient's return to the facility, review and document such review of anyphysician orders related to the resident's hospital discharge care plan orthe skilled nursing facility discharge care plan and modify the individualservice plan for the resident accordingly. The department of health andsenior services may adjust personal care units authorized as described insubsection 14 of section 208.152, RSMo, upon the effective date of thephysicians orders to reflect the services required by such orders.
