Apartments for seniors, districts may establish (Marion andRalls counties).

198.345. Nothing in sections 198.200 to 198.350 shall prohibit anursing home district from establishing and maintaining apartments forseniors that provide at a minimum housing, food services, and emergencycall buttons to the apartment residents in any county of the thirdclassification without a township form of government and with more thantwenty-eight thousand two hundred but fewer than twenty-eight thousandthree hundred inhabitants or any county of the third classification withouta township form of government and with more than nine thousand five hundredfifty but fewer than nine thousand six hundred fifty inhabitants. Suchnursing home districts shall not lease such apartments for less than fairmarket rent as reported by the United States Department of Housing andUrban Development.
