Records required, transmittal to department--elements of report,determinations.

198.406. 1. Each nursing facility shall keep such recordsas may be necessary to determine the amount of its reimbursementallowance. On or before the first day of October of each year,every nursing facility shall submit to the department of socialservices a statement that accurately reflects such information asis necessary to determine that nursing facility's reimbursementallowance.

2. If a nursing facility does not have a third prior yeardesk-reviewed cost report, elements of the reimbursementallowance shall be based on determinations by the department ofsocial services in accordance with rules and regulationsestablished under section 198.436.
