204.672. Any public sanitary sewer district or reorganized sewerdistrict organized and operated under this chapter or chapter 249, RSMo,and any metropolitan sewer district organized under the constitution ofthis state, may enter into a cooperative agreement with a city or countyfor the purpose of constructing sanitary sewer system improvements underthe provisions of the neighborhood improvement district act, sections67.453 to 67.475, RSMo. Any such cooperative agreement, if approved by thegoverning bodies of the district and city or county, may include provisionsfor joint administration of projects for the issuance of temporary notesand general obligation bonds by district, city, or county, separately orjointly, and for the payment of such bonds by any source of funds or userfees in addition to funds from special assessments as provided for insections 67.453 to 67.475, RSMo, and general ad valorem taxes, so long asall terms, conditions, and covenants of any applicable bond resolution orordinance are complied with and so long as said notes and bonds are issuedin compliance with general applicable law.
