May contract for services--length of contract.

205.981. 1. The board of trustees may contract with a community mentalhealth center, mental health clinic, or other public facility ornot-for-profit corporation as designated by the department for suchcomprehensive mental health services for the residents of such county as maybe mutually agreeable between the board of trustees or officials of suchcenter, clinic, facility, or corporation and the board of trustees of thecounty requesting the services for the residents thereof.

2. The consideration for the provision of services under this sectionshall be appropriated out of the county's community mental health fund or maybe appropriated out of the county's general revenue fund and shall not exceedan amount of revenue that could be derived from a tax levy authorized bysections 205.977 to 205.980.

3. Each contract may be for a term of not exceeding five years, but maybe renewed from time to time.
