Records of district--officers and employees to give bond.

206.140. 1. The board shall provide for the proper andsafekeeping of its permanent records and for the recording of thecorporate action of the district. It shall keep a true andaccurate account of its receipts and an annual audit shall bemade of its books, records and accounts.

2. All officers and employees authorized to receive orretain the custody of money or to sign vouchers, checks, warrantsor evidences of indebtedness binding upon the district shallfurnish surety bond for the faithful performance of their dutiesand the faithful accounting for all moneys that may come intotheir hands in an amount to be fixed and in a form to be approvedby the board.
