Licensure through the department of health and senior servicesrequired for receipt of certain education funds.

210.199. Any applicant for a grant or contract who offers earlychildhood development, education or care programs and who receives fundsderived from an appropriation to the department of elementary and secondaryeducation pursuant to paragraph (d) of subdivision (3) of section 313.835,RSMo, shall be licensed by the department of health and senior servicespursuant to sections 210.201 to 210.259 prior to opening of the facility. Theprovisions of this section shall not apply to any grant or contract awarded toa request for proposal issued prior to August 28, 1999.
