215.262. The commission shall consist of nine votingmembers, seven of which shall be appointed by the governor by andwith the advice and consent of the senate. The appointedcommission members shall include two residential generalcontractors, two citizens at large, one residential landdeveloper, one residential architect and one residentialengineer. The chief administrative officers of the Missourihousing development commission and the Missouri department ofeconomic development shall also be members of the commission andshall retain their memberships on the commission for the durationof their service to the Missouri housing development commissionand the Missouri department of economic development. Thecommission may, in its discretion, establish other ex officiomembers as it deems prudent, who shall stand appointed andqualified for membership on the commission upon the resolution ofthe commission. Members of the commission shall serve for termsof three years, but of the first members appointed, three shallserve for a term of one year, two shall serve for a term of twoyears and two shall serve for a term of three years. Vacancieson the commission shall be filled for the unexpired term in thesame manner as original appointments are made. The commissionmay remove any of its members for cause after hearing. Membersof the commission on regulatory barriers to affordable housingshall receive no compensation for their services, but may bereimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred by them inthe performance of their duties.
