Clothing, money, transportation, return of personal property todischarged or paroled prisoners--exception.

217.285. Each offender paroled or discharged from thedepartment may, depending on need, be furnished appropriatecivilian clothing and up to two hundred dollars. Any othermoney and property belonging to the offender which has been inthe custody and control of the department and which the offenderwas authorized to retain shall be returned to him, except forany money or property confiscated as contraband pursuant tosection 217.365.
