Necessary clothing for prisoner--cost, how paid.

221.140. In case of any prisoner confined in any jail inthis state on a charge of felony being in want of needful andnecessary clothing, it shall be the duty of the jailer to procurethe same, and to present his account therefor to the court havingcriminal jurisdiction for the county; and on said court beingsatisfied of the correctness of such account, shall certify thesame for payment, as other costs in criminal cases, to the stateauditor.
