Commitment from another county, expenses, how paid.

221.260. In all cases where a person is committed fromanother county for a criminal offense under this chapter, suchcounty, or the prisoner, or the state, shall pay the expenses, inthe same manner as if the commitment had been in the county wherethe offense was committed; and in civil suits, the plaintiff ordefendant, or the prisoner, shall pay the expenses, in the samemanner as if the imprisonment had taken place in the county wherethe suit commenced.
