Duties and powers of state transportation department.

226.310. The state transportation department is herebydesignated, authorized and directed as the state agency ofthis state to acquire by gift, purchase, condemnation orotherwise, as public property and convey to the United Statessuch parkway areas and easements as and when required byaforesaid act of congress and as determined by surveys and mapshereafter approved by the Secretary of the Interior.
