Rules authorized--injunctive relief.

226.700. The state highways and transportation commissionshall have authority to promulgate reasonable rules andregulations to implement sections 226.650 to 226.720 and isauthorized to enter into agreements with the United StatesSecretary of Commerce as provided by Title 23, United StatesCode, relating to the control of junkyards. The maintenance ofthe junkyard in violation of sections 226.650 to 226.720 isdeclared to be a nuisance, and the state highways andtransportation commission may apply to the circuit court of anycounty in which such unlawful junkyard is located for aninjunction to abate such nuisance.
