Duties of department to assist and furnish--staff forcommittee--annual report, content.

226.808. The Missouri department of transportation shall:

(1) Provide staff assistance to the coordinating council onspecial transportation and interagency committee on specialtransportation;

(2) In cooperation with the coordinating council andinteragency committee prepare an annual inventory of rural andspecial transportation services and needs and report to thegovernor and general assembly;

(3) Provide technical assistance to local agenciesdesignated to prepare area special transportation plans anddirect and supervise the preparation of the area specialtransportation plans with funds appropriated for that purpose.
