The contractor shall enter into a bond in such sumas may be fixed by the county commission, township board ordistrict commissioners, with some surety company authorized to dobusiness in this state as surety thereon or other good andsufficient surety, the condition of such bond to be that thecontractor will faithfully discharge his duties under thecontract within the time and in the manner therein provided, andthat he will furnish and promptly pay for all labor employed andmaterials used and equipment rented in the performance of saidcontract, and the state, county or political subdivision, or anylaborer, materialman or other person injured by breach of suchcontract may sue on such bond. All such bonds when approved bythe proper authorities shall be recorded upon the proper records.
