Construction of bridge in adjoining county.

234.070. Whenever the county commission of any county, uponinvestigation, shall be satisfied that the citizens of saidcounty will be benefited by the construction of a bridge in anadjoining county and within one mile of the boundary linedividing said counties, the aforesaid county commission may unitewith the county commission of said adjoining county in causingsaid bridge to be built and may contribute to the expense ofbuilding said bridge in any sum not to exceed one-half the costof such bridge, and may make an appropriation for the payment ofsame.
