Protesting petition.

235.060. Any time after the filing of a petition for theorganization of a district and before the day fixed for thehearing thereon, a petition may be filed in the office of thecounty clerk protesting against the creation of the proposeddistrict. Such protesting petition shall be signed and filed byor on behalf of one or more qualified taxpaying electors of thedistrict, and shall recite wherein the incorporation of thedistrict will not promote the purposes as set forth in thepetition, or wherein sufficient facts have not been related tojustify the incorporation of such district, and any other factswhich may be useful to the commission in determining whether ornot such original petition shall be allowed.
