238.030. Authority may apply for approval of Congress.
Authority may apply for approval of Congress.
238.030. The authority shall have power to apply to theCongress of the United States for its consent and approval of thecompact; but in the absence of such consent of congress and untilthe same shall have been secured, the compact shall be bindingupon the state of Missouri in all respects permitted by law forthe two states of Missouri and Kansas without the consent ofcongress to cooperate, for the purposes enumerated in thecompact, and in the manner provided therein.
