Costs of petition process, how paid.

238.217. The costs of filing and defending the petitionand all publication and incidental costs incurred in obtainingcircuit court certification of the petition for voter approvalshall be paid by the petitioners. If a district is organizedunder sections 238.200 to 238.275, the petitioners may bereimbursed for such costs out of the revenues received by thedistrict.
