County commission to appoint counsel.

243.040. At the first term of the county commission afterthe filing of the petition the county commission shall appointone or more attorneys, satisfactory to the owners of a majorityof the acreage represented by those signing the petition, toassist in the establishment of the district and advise with itsofficers, agents and employees, prepare reports and othernecessary documents. The county commission shall allow suchattorney or attorneys just compensation to be taxed as costs inthe case.
