Time of hearing to be published--form of notice.

243.060. Immediately after the report of the viewers andengineer has been filed, it will be the duty of the county clerkto cause notice thereof to be published in some newspaperpublished in the county wherein the proceedings are pending.Such notice shall be published once a week for three consecutiveweeks, three times, and shall be in substantially the followingform:

NOTICE OF PENDENCY OF PETITION TO FORM

DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

Notice is hereby given to all persons interested in thefollowing described land and other property in ......... Countyof Missouri (here describe the property as set out in thepetition and report of the viewers and engineer) that there hasbeen filed in this office a petition for the organization of adrainage district under the provisions of chapter 243, RSMo, thatthe duly appointed viewers and engineer have made and filed theirreport in this office, and that the lands and other property asabove described will be affected by the formation of the proposeddrainage district and be rendered liable to taxation for thepurpose of paying the expenses of organizing and incorporatingthe district and making and maintaining the improvements that maybe found necessary to drain, protect and reclaim the lands andother property therein and you and each of you are herebynotified that you may examine the said petition and report andfile exceptions to all or any part thereof as provided by law.
