Taxes to be levied against county-owned swamplands, how paid.

243.150. Whenever any of the counties in which any drainagedistrict shall be organized under the provisions of this chaptershall be the owner of a tract or tracts of swamplands, granted toit by the state of Missouri, which will be benefited by theconstruction of any such ditch or drain, the said land shall beassessed as to benefits and damages as any other land and thetaxes levied against the same shall be paid by the countycommission out of the swampland fund or out of any fund or fundsarising from the proceeds of the sale of swamplands of suchcounty.
