Privilege to pay drainage tax in full.

243.340. The owner of any land or other property taxed forthe construction of any improvement under the provisions of thischapter, shall have the privilege of paying such tax to thecounty treasurer at any time on or before a date to be fixed bythe county commission prior to the issuance of bonds payable fromsaid taxes and the amount to be paid shall be the full amount ofthe tax levied, less any amount added thereto to meet interest.He shall present the treasurer's receipt therefor to the countyclerk, who shall enter upon the drainage tax record opposite eachtract for which payment is made the words "paid in full" and suchtax shall be deemed satisfied.
