Districts to be political corporations, numbered.

247.020. The districts to be formed under sections 247.010to 247.220 shall be known as public water supply districts of thecounties in which districts are located, and shall be politicalcorporations of the state of Missouri. Each district shall carrywith it a number, which shall not be the same as any existingdistrict of the county, and, when incorporated and organized asherein provided, shall have and be invested with all the powersconferred upon them by the provisions of sections 247.010 to247.220 and no other.
