Duties of officers of board.

247.100. 1. It shall be the duty of the president topreside at all board meetings, to act as official head of thedistrict, to execute all contracts required to be executed by thedistrict and the board. In the absence or disability of thepresident, the vice president shall assume the duties of thepresident.

2. The clerk shall keep the official records of the meetingsof the board, shall attest all official documents with the sealof the district, shall, when called upon, make reports pertainingto the business of his office, attend the board meetings, andperform such other duties as may be imposed upon him by theprovisions of sections 247.010 to 247.220 and the rules of theboard.

3. The treasurer shall be the custodian of the funds of thedistrict and pay money out of the treasury only upon validwarrants drawn on the treasury. Warrants shall be signed by theclerk and countersigned by the president. He shall execute suchbond for faithful performance of duty as may be required by theboard, the expense of the execution of the bond, however, to beborne by the district.

4. The board may, from time to time, provide for additionalrules and regulations concerning the duties of its officers.
