Public water supply districts and cities owning a waterworks to benotified of water service inquiries, when, contents.

247.228. When an entity considering or proposing the construction ofa multiresidential or commercial development, which is located within thecity limits of a city owning a waterworks and also located within theboundaries of a public water supply district, makes an inquiry of the cityadministrator respecting the supply of water service to such constructionproject, the city shall notify the public water supply district of suchinquiry. Such notification shall be within ten days of the initial inquiryof the city administrator, shall be by certified mail, and shall state thelocation of such construction project to the extent the city administratoris aware of such.
