Contents of petition.

247.270. The petition shall set forth:

(1) The name of the proposed district consisting of a chosenname preceding the words "metropolitan water supply district";

(2) An estimate of the number of inhabitants and of theassessed valuation of the taxable tangible property of thedistrict;

(3) A description of and an estimate of the cost of theproposed improvements;

(4) A suggested maximum rate of tax levy for generaloperating purposes not to exceed twenty-five cents on the onehundred dollar valuation;

(5) A general description of the boundaries of the districtor territory to be included therein, with such certainty as toenable a property owner to determine whether or not his propertyis within the district;

(6) A list of the public water supply districts, cities,towns, villages and other political subdivisions within thebounds of the proposed district, an estimate of the number ofwater customers of such units and an estimate of the waterconsumption of said customers;

(7) The names of five voters of the district who shallconstitute the first board of directors of the district;

(8) Such other data and information as may be useful to thecourt in determining the necessity for the organization of thedistrict.
