Treasurer--bond--financial statement--fiscal year.

247.400. The treasurer shall keep strict and accurateaccounts of all money received by and disbursed for and on behalfof the district in permanent records. He shall file with theclerk of the court, at the expense of the district, a corporatefidelity bond in an amount to be determined by the board for notless than five thousand dollars, conditioned on the faithfulperformance of the duties of his office. He shall file in theoffice of the recorder of deeds a detailed financial statementfor the preceding fiscal year of the district on behalf of theboard during the month of January. The fiscal year of the boardshall be the same as the calendar year.
