Public hearing to be held prior to election for consolidation ofsewer districts.

249.1103. The governing body of the county receiving the proposalpursuant to section 249.1100 shall set a day for a public hearing prior toelection for the creation of a consolidated sewer district and shallpublish the resolution with a notice of the time and place of publichearing in some local newspaper of general circulation, published in suchcounty in which any district proposed to be consolidated lies at leastthirty days before the date of the hearing. At such hearing anyoneinterested in the proposed consolidation of sewer districts may appear andpresent their views to the governing body of the county.
