Delinquent rental charges to bear interest.

249.410. 1. Delinquent rental charges shall bear interestat the rate of one-half percent per month, until paid, and shallbe collected in the same manner as taxes levied under theauthority of sections 249.010 to 249.420 for the payment ofsinking funds and interest on other bonds of the district arecollected.

2. All provisions of sections 249.010 to 249.420 pertainingto soliciting bids for construction or repairs of other sewers inthe district and the letting of and execution of contracts shallbe deemed to apply with equal effect to lateral sewersconstructed in subdistricts.
