Maintenance costs, assessment may be levied and collected afterperiod for assessment of property has expired.

249.933. A sewage or storm water facility improvement districtassessment may be levied and collected after the original period approvedfor assessment of property within the district has expired, with theproceeds thereof used solely for maintenance of the improvement, if theresidents of the sewage or storm water facility improvement district voteto assess property within the district for the maintenance costs in themanner prescribed in subsection 2 of section 249.929.
