Department to implement older Americans act.

251.070. The department shall be responsible for theimplementation of the Older Americans Act in Missouri. Thisagency shall develop a state plan describing a program forcarrying out the Older Americans Act and shall be the sole agencyresponsible for coordinating all state programs related to theimplementation of such plan.

*The Reorganization Act of 1974 transferred the state's responsibility under the Older Americans Act to the department of social services. "Department" in this section means the department of social services.
