253.095. In order to further the interpretive or educationalfunctions of Missouri state parks, the director of the Missouri departmentof natural resources is authorized to enter into agreements with private,not-for-profit organizations that are organized to provide cooperative,interpretive, facility enhancement or educational services to any Missouristate park. The director may provide state park facility space andincidental staff support to such an organization under a cooperativeagreement, which reimburses the department for the actual costs of suchspace and incidental staff support and clearly demonstrates the fiscal,interpretive, educational, and facility enhancement benefits to the state.Net proceeds received from the sale of publications or other materials andservices provided by an organization pursuant to such an agreement enteredinto under this section shall be retained by the organization for use inthe interpretive or educational services provided in state parks.
