260.015. Purpose of authority.

Purpose of authority.

260.015. The authority is authorized to provide for theconservation of the air, land and water resources of the state bythe prevention or reduction of the pollution thereof and propermethods of disposal of solid waste or sewage and to provide forthe furnishing of water facilities and resource recoveryfacilities and to provide for the development of the energyresources of the state, to provide for energy conservation and toprovide for energy efficiency projects and increased energyefficiency in the state, and to further such programs theauthority is authorized to acquire and construct, and financeprojects and to issue bonds and notes and make loans as hereinprovided to pay the costs thereof. Any pollution control, sewageor solid waste disposal, resource recovery, energy conservationor energy efficiency projects shall be in furtherance ofapplicable federal and state standards and regulations.
