Recording of a covenant, procedure.

260.1021. 1. An environmental covenant and any amendment ortermination of the covenant shall be recorded in every county or city notwithin a county in which any portion of the real property subject to thecovenant is located. For purposes of indexing, a holder shall be treatedas a grantee.

2. Except as otherwise provided in section 260.1024, an environmentalcovenant is subject to the laws of this state governing recording andpriority of interests in real property.
