Completion of plan, department to issue letter, contents--effect.

260.573. If the provisions set forth in sections 260.565 to260.575 and any rules promulgated thereunder are met, and theapplicant has remitted all applicable participation fees, thedepartment shall issue, to the applicant, a letter stating thatno further action need be taken at the site related to anycontamination identified in the environmental assessments and forwhich remedial action has been taken in accordance with theapproved remedial action plan. Such letter, however, shallprovide that the department of natural resources may require theperson to conduct additional environmental site assessments orremedial actions in the event that any monitoring conducted at ornear the real property or other circumstances indicate thatadditional contamination is present which was not identified bythe environmental site assessments or for which remedial actionwas not taken according to the remedial action plan.
