Rules and regulations.

263.040. The state entomologist shall, from time to time,make rules for carrying out the provisions and requirements ofsections 263.010 to 263.180, including rules under whichinspectors and other employees shall:

(1) Inspect places, plants and plant products, and thingsand substances used or connected therewith;

(2) Investigate, control, eradicate and prevent thedissemination of plant pests; and

(3) Supervise or cause the treatment, cutting anddestruction of plants and plant products infested or infectedwith plant pests.
