Sale of misbranded fertilizer prohibited--misbranding defined.

266.311. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, offerfor sale or expose for sale any fertilizer for use or consumptionin this state which is misbranded. Any fertilizer shall bedeemed to be misbranded if it fails to carry the printedstatement required under section 266.321, or if the chemicalcomposition of such fertilizer does not meet the guaranteeexpressed on said statement within allowable tolerances fixed bythe director, or if the container for such fertilizer or anystatement accompanying the same carries any false or misleadingstatement, or if false or misleading statements concerning itsagricultural value are made on any advertising matteraccompanying or associated with such fertilizer.
