Animals under test not to be removed.

267.600. Animals, livestock or birds under test for acontagious and infectious disease may not be removed from thepremises until the results of the tests are known and the ownerof such animals, livestock or birds receives a record of the testfrom the veterinarian certifying that the animals or birds arefree of the disease and until any infected animals or birds aresold for slaughter on permit and as may be required by the stateveterinarian, or until such animals or birds are recovered andincapable of spreading the disease or until the animals or birdsin the herd or flock have been released by the state veterinarianor his representative. The method of eradicating the diseaseshall be at the discretion of the state veterinarian and inaccordance with such procedures as may be outlined by the stateveterinarian or his representative.
